All clubs should be aware that drinks breaks must be contained to five minutes.

These should be served on the field of play by the home side or if necessary by the batting away team bringing out drinks that the home club have pre-prepared.

Players will only be permitted to leave the field for a toilet break after notifying the umpires of their intentions.

Going into the changing rooms and checking phones, food or cigarette breaks have this season already all been reported as causing breaks to extend significantly. 

This all knocks on into over rates dropping below the required level.

Umpires have been asked to enforce this rigidly and report any non conformance.
