A vote of member clubs agreed by 22 votes to two to restructure the BDPCL season as follows:

Round 1 fixtures move from Sat April 20th to Monday May 27th starting at 12 noon.

Round 2 fixtures move from Sat April 27th to Monday August 26th starting at 12 noon.

Both of these rounds are in the 50-over win/lose white ball format.

The 2024 BDPCL season will therefore begin on Saturday May 4th.

This change is a permanent one and will therefore apply to future seasons as well as 2024.

This restructured season will be reviewed during 2024 then (as per any other aspect of the league) on an ongoing basis as required.

The Play-Cricket site will be amended accordingly and umpire appointments will be adjusted/confirmed once availability is established.
