Barnards Green's New Zealand import Jakob Bhula broke a record that has stood for over 100 years by making a double-hundred at West Bromwich Dartmouth's Sandwell Park home.
According to Dartmouth secretary Steve Carr the 26-year-old Wellington-based batter became the first player since the ground opened in the first decade of the 20th century to pass 200.
Bhula's remarkable knock spanned 193 minutes and 144 balls during which he struck 18 sixes and ten boundaries.
Despite making 386 in 50 of the available 55 overs, Barnards Green were unable to force a victory thanks to their hosts' stubborn 60-over defensive rearguard which eventually secured a draw at 154 for eight.
The previous ground record in first XI cricket was also made by a visitor - Himley's Greg Wright - who made 186 in May 2013.
