Selection will be based on performances but it will not, always, be the players with the highest scores or the best bowling figures who are chosen. A cameo performance that leads to an unlikely win and a performance in the context of a particular match will, also, be considered and, at all times, the aim will be to select a balanced side including batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders and a wicket-keeper.
