Follow live updates from the match between the BDPCL Representative XI and Worcestershire 2nd XI played at Bromsgrove School:

Leamington slow left-armer Shailan Srikanthan grabbed three quick wickets to check Worcestershire's progress.

At the midway point of their 50-over innings the Pears had reached 123 for four - after a strong recovery by the BDPCL representative side.

Shailan's first victim was Barnards Green's Rehan Edavalaath who was yorked for a fluent 25.

And he was followed back to the pavillion by Rob Jones (11) and Barnt Green's Henry Cullen who was well caught at long on by his former Kenilworth Wardens teammate Tommy Rex.

Smethwick's Isaac Mohammed, who made 46 from 43 balls, had earlier got Worcestershire 2nds away to a brisk start after BDPCL captain Jon Wigley won the toss and asked them to bat.

Isaac picked up three sixes over square leg against league opening attack Rex and Ed Bragg (Halesowen) as the hosts closed the opening ten-over powerplay at 62 without loss.
