Old Hill marched into the last eight of the ECB's Vitality Club National T20 by claiming emphatic wins over Checkley and Alderley Edge.
As a result Bilal Hassan's side progress to the Regional Finals Day which takes place at Denby CC in Derbyshire on Sunday August 24th.
The winner of this four-team shoot-out then plays in the National Final at Wormsley Cricket Ground in Buckinghamshire on Sunday September 14th.
Old Hill's batters took full advantage of their local knowledge to lash no fewer than 18 sixes while piling up 267-4 in their 20-over allowance against North Staffs & South Cheshire Premier League T20 champions Checkley.
Openers Hasan Ahmed (45 from 21 balls) and Waqas Ahmed (51 from 34 balls) added 66 in the opening five overs of the powerplay.
And with their skipper in equally destructive mode the pace never slackened. Hassan's 68 came at a strike rate of 200 and with Pakistani pro Saad Naseem then crashing an unbeaten 73 from just 26 balls Checkley were up against it.
A rain break then saw their Duckworth Lewis adjusted target become 210 from 13 overs - a figure they never threatened before closing on 107-9.
Cheshire County League T20 champions Alderley Edge then saw off 2024 ECB plate winners Ackworth to claim the other last 16 place on offer, but they were unable to go one better and bank a quarter-final spot against a home side who again posted a daunting target of 226 after being asked to bat first.
In a near-repeat performance, openers Hasan (39) and Waqas (57) raced to 82 in just seven overs before Captain Hassan made a 28-ball 51 then Sean Keeling-Wright blasted 44 runs from 21 balls in the closing stages.
Second-wicket pair Patrick Ashling (62) and Liam Yahathugoda (46) gave the visitors a hint of a chance by getting them to 93 in the eighth over.
But thereafter a combination of scoreboard pressure and Old Hill's spin attack proved too much for the men of Cheshire whose last nine wickets fell for 62 to leave them 155 all out.
Old Hill join Hucknall, Kendal and New Farnley in the Northern Regional Finals Day.
