Warwickshire Cricket Foundation have advised of the following upcoming events:

Grounds Morning

We will be running a Grounds Morning at Edgbaston Community Ground, Portland Road, Edgbaston on Tuesday 18th March from 10.30 am.  This will include talks from our County Pitch Advisors, ECB, Grounds Management Association and presentations from Dennis Mowers and Origin Amenities.  This event is open to all clubs and requires advanced booking.

Creating a Welcoming Environment Seminar

This evening will showcase how to create a welcoming club environment in particular off the cricket field.  It will look at funding possibilities and explore the delivery of a project from inception to delivery and how best to engage members and the wider community. 

The evening will take place from 6.30 pm on Monday 17th March at Harborne Cricket Club, Old Church Road, Harborne. This event is open to all clubs and requires advanced booking.

ECB Get-Set Weekend

The ECB have launched their communications around Get-Set Weekend which most clubs will remember as Cricket Force.  Clubs can get further information, resources and sign up via the link below;

Scoring Courses

There are a number of courses coming up for scorers of all experience levels including those who may want to score at a club for the first time this season.

Electronic Scoring course (PCS Pro) -  23rd March 10.00 to 16.30 Indoor Cricket Centre, Edgbaston - Introduction into using the Computer based scoring program.

Club Scorer - 2nd and 9th March 10.00 to 16.30 Indoor Cricket Centre, Edgbaston - Suitable for scorers who are scoring regularly for a team. 

The course covers the traditional book method of scoring to give a good understanding on how to score a cricket match.
